  Kevin McLaughlin

Brief Bio:
Arriving to the senior management team of the Beckett companies in late 2000, Kevin McLaughlin brought two decades of experience in the world of film and television production budgeting and accounting into another creative environment--advertising and strategic consulting. Familiar with all aspects of current production and post production, he began his career at Filmways Productions, Inc. (1979) where he executed all production accounting functions for the TV series "Cagney and Lacey" and also pioneered the use of personal computers for production accounting, budgeting and cost reporting.

McLaughlin has been recognized as one of the innovators who brought Show Biz accounting into the Computer Age. His innovative accounting procedures involving computers were first recognized by PC World magazine in their December 1984 issue. During the same year, he was selected as a panel member and speaker for the first L.A. Show Biz Expo where he addressed the first time use of spreadsheet applications to budget productions.

His work continued at Orion TV Productions at DIC Entertainment L.P., a division of the Walt Disney Studios, Fidelity Studios and at Paul Vitello Productions.
