"Everyone, every company and every thing has a brand. Brands are reputations. Brands are what people believe they can expect from us. Branding is the process of managing the expectations that we have created. When we consistently fulfill expectations, people learn to depend upon us. That dependability--that trust--is our most precious asset. As business leaders, we are called to answer the question, "Do we treat our brands in a manner that improves or diminishes their value?"
