Sean Gera
Brief Bio:
Sean Gera's strengths are rooted in his keen fascination for all things business and political, both in the United States and internationally. Sean has developed a unique perspective about business, particularly in ways to increase efficiency and financial performance, develop strategy, create value, and improve social responsibility in domestic and emerging markets.
During his time at Beckett Advisors, Sean has focused on business development, strategy, organizational structure, and marketing. Additionally, he has helped establish relationships with business contacts and potential partners in India.
He is in the process of completing a Ph.D. in World Politics at Claremont Graduate University. His objective is to create an advanced model that can be used for analyzing the private sectors interaction and effect on government policy. Sean's interest in energy comes from his dual interest in business and politics. He believes that energy will become a key variable for analysis in his dissertation regarding emerging markets and their relationship with the United States.
Besides working for Beckett, Sean also does technical writing for CallFire, Inc., a telecommunications start-up, and for WikiStrat, Inc., a geopolitical consulting firm. His writing often focuses on South Asia, energy security, and international macroeconomic policies.
He is interested in assisting domestic companies improve their operations and capabilities abroad to compete in a global environment. His understanding of international relations along with strategy and finance provide a unique advantage for understanding environmental complexities and levels of influence that government can have in specific markets.
